Three wee updates
Ahoy, friends. I have three tidbits to share with you.
Episode 4 of Kindred Spirits is now available. It’s delightfully bonkers and poignant. We explore how to handle unsolicited feedback, what to do with feedback you don’t like, and what to do in a friendship when things go wrong. You’ll enjoy this one. 🥰
I wrote a long soliloquy on microblogging. It was meant to be a cantrip, but I once again cast a big spell—only to realise deep into my indulgent writing that, lo, I am circling a similar concept yet again. This goes to show I am probably due to undertake The Ritual of Becoming once more—except I am transmuting it into a new form for you. In the meantime, I persist in the awkward-liminal.
I have also just now uploaded a mini-podcast episode that vaguely flirts with the notion of ‘conviviality’. This is, would you believe, an episode that is only fifteen minutes short. I know! If you have any validation to send my way, feel free to leave a comment—I would, as always, love to hear from you.
What else? Well, I am working on providing some details about ‘the rogue wizard guild’ I previously hinted at, as a few of you have asked. It’s not ready yet, but I will give you a tease.
I’m cultivating a network of spellcasters, shapeshifters, and rogues. Warm-hearted, bright-minded folks seeking to become even more effective agents in this time betwixt worlds. In 2026 I’ll be hosting a wizard-academy, teaching independent consultants how to find an authentic alchemy of memetic fitness, intellectual honesty, and commercial savvy.
Wit, wisdom & wiles, if you will.
This wizard academy will serve as a publishing house and a front for an independent network of kindred spirits who are warmly—subversively—working together to co-create a world more curious and kind (and a future less grim).
I’m also working on a glossary of terms I relish and/or frequently use. It’s getting out of hand. Here’s a sample of just a few of the words beginning with the letter ‘A’:

I swear I could write a whole essay on each word.[^ Shout out to Alchemist Ken who supplied me with a few at least nine additional words—which then spurred me to add yet a few more.]
