Dr Fox, to me your writing is hardly jargon-filled but full of whimsy and cheer and delight. That said, we do run in complexity circles so perhaps this is preaching to the choir!

I believe different languages are necessary for different fields, because we need precision and clarity, and jargon evolved from that. And yes, it can absolutely take the piss sometimes when you’re asked if you can help an organisation “transform into a hybrid future-proof digital-first collaborative environment through adaptive agile practices”. 😂
